A Valentine snack table is always a fun way to celebrate the season and it doesn’t need to be crazy elaborate to produce a smile or two from the ones you love!  This is a great thing…because this year it already seems like the time is flying by and I don’t want to miss out on any of the Valentine fun!  Whether you’re serving a treat to your kids, dishing out some sugar to guests, or having a few girls in for ladies night fun, it can be super simple to create something festive!  I’d love to share some of my favorite “tricks” for styling a simple Valentine display with easy goodies and budget friendly decorations to go with them!  All you need is a small table, a beverage cart, tray, or a clear space on your kitchen counter to display the goods!  You can keep some basic items in your pantry and whip up a wonderful treat in a pinch…so let’s let love fill the air and get started!

melt hearts with an easy valentine snack!

this colorful display may look extra festive…but it REALLY is easy to pull together in a snap!  my tiny table is just right for moving around the house, but a tray would work equally as well!  i filled it with simple paper products and one favorite cake stand for the showstopper!

let’s start with the goodies…

you know how much i LOVE semi-homemade treats…especially for quick parties or when kids pop in!  make it easy and go grab some favorite snack cakes…

valentine snack table

and dress them up!  i used Peeps hearts…

valentine snack

popped them on a toothpick…

valentine snack

to make an edible topper!  they’ll work on any favorite snack cake, cupcake or cookie!

Valentine snack

munchie mix

you can add holiday color to any snack mix with some fun sprinkles!

Valentine snack

try drizzling melted chocolate over pretzel twists and just toss some on…

Valentine snack

a little salty & sweet Valentine snack that’s so easy and looks cute too!

Valentine snack

easy DIY decor

the second “dessert stand” on my table is actually a pencil holder (from the dollar bin) filled with honeycomb hearts…

valentine DIY

top it with a plastic plate and voila…a festive treat stand!

Valentine snack

and a dollar store, plastic napkin holder gets gussied up with another paper heart!  such a whimsical, cute & EASY way to hold the darling paper products!

Valentine DIY

simple sips & sippers!

instead of using my pretty cake stand for sweets…i switched it up and used it to serve sips!

Valentine snack table

dropping the tiny bottles directly into the paper cups saves room and looks cute too!

Valentine snack table

ginger beer has a little stronger flavor than ginger ale…so if your kiddos or guests aren’t ginger fans, there are all sorts of sodas available in small cans & bottles!

Valentine snack table

i love to try and add one elegant element to any table…this crystal draped stand makes all the paper products shine!

Valentine snack table

i think the honeycomb hearts look sweet added to the side!

Valentine snack

and the pretty crystals bring some sophistication to the table don’t you think?

Valentine snack table

backdrop beauty

doilies are one of my most favorite items for creating festive backdrops, table runners, or adding a pop of color to a display!

Valentine snack

painters tape is all you need to hang them and won’t damage surfaces like painted walls!  i also taped up some extra honeycomb hearts for dimension…and cuteness!

Valentine backdrop

doilies, paper plates, or paper shapes of any sort can make a really inexpensive background for any event…big or small!

Valentine snack table

so check out the dollar bins, the paper supplies sections, and grocery store isles…
