It has been a really busy last couple of weeks around here! School ending, baseball frenzy, parties galore…and my oldest graduating from High School! I’m actually surprised that I was able to keep my head above water! So needless to say today I’m keeping it short and sweet so that I can get caught up and wrap up some some things before we FINALLY get to enjoy summer vacation! And speaking of summer, I’m sharing some favorite things today that are perfect for all your warm-weather gatherings! With so much happening lately I realized I hadn’t done a “favorite things” in quite some time…and I will remedy that today! So have a peek at some summertime goodies that I think will be your favorites too!

you know i love to style a party and summertime is one of my favorite seasons for gatherings! i guess i say that about EVERY season…but after a long winter and cool spring, summer weather is so appreciated and makes us want to celebrate outside! check out this grouping of fun party supplies that are just as perfect for celebrations as they are for decorating summer spaces!
you can find the driftwood pineapple, metal candle holders and beaded vessels at Kirklands. the paper cocktail napkins, tassel napkins and coasters are from Home Goods. i’m in love with how all these supplies remind me of the beach!

seriously, i can hardly stand how darling these paper products are for tropical inspired parties! and you don’t need a huge occasion to break out these cuties! how about a icy cocktail on the patio paired with a super casual snack…i can guarantee it will look fabulous served up on these pretty plates and napkins!

summertime and s’mores…
i believe that the s’more is the official snack of summer…and how wonderful are these patriotic inspired roasting sticks with a touch of glitter! SO fun for Fourth of July celebrations but also all season long! they’re nice and small for storage but telescope out when you’re ready to roast so there’s no burning your fingertips…

also found in the fabulous dollar spot are both garlands on my patio buffet! i LOVE the fact that the floral one is on a wire…you can bend it, drape it, or wrap it around anything you wish! i think summer is filled with more happy hours than any other season…don’t you?
pretty patio things
last but not least…i adore these pretty scalloped planters and lavender scented citronella candles…yes, i said lavender!! if you’re not a huge fan of the original citronella scent you will LOVE these! and look how pretty the color is too! and the planter is made of a lightweight, shatter resistant material! it also requires drilling a drainage hole in the bottom if you want to plant in it…that might not seem like a bonus but it sure is wonderful to NOT have a hole in it if you might plan to use it for an ice bucket for summer sips! i love the scalloped edges and this type of planter would make a cute vessel for holding bug sprays, sun screens, summer toys like sidewalk chalk or bubbles…and of course, flowers!
