Easy 4th of July fun is the best!  Holiday celebrations can be stressful but they don’t have to be elaborate to please.  Simple treats that have some festive flair will always bring a smile to the faces family or friends.  I believe that the Fourth of July kicks off the rest of the summer with a bang so it can be a wonderful time to create a seasonal treat that will be exciting to all.  So today I’m sharing some easy ways to set up an ice cream bar for your guests to make a personalized dessert.  You can keep it easy and simple and still come up with a delicious treat to celebrate the holiday or any time throughout the summer. Keep your pantry stocked with a few supplies and you’ll be ready to dish out the fun!

Red, white, & blue berries and star-spangled scones will delight your family on the 4th of July!  Patriotic colored berries and vanilla ice cream will make the sweetest toppings for your holiday biscuits.  Cut them out into festive stars and you have an easy dessert that everyone will love!  Today I’d like to share one of my favorite recipes and how I served these sweet scones with a little holiday flair!  Easy peasy and fresh for the Fourth!

Star Spangled Decor DIY!

Star spangled decor is always festive for patriotic celebrations!  Starting with Memorial Day through the 4th of July, you’ll see lots of red, white & blue, stripes, AND stars! Today I want to focus on those five-pointed goodies with a few easy DIY ideas.  We just enjoyed the “unofficial start of summer” festivities and I made some simple table decorations that will be perfect for the 4th too!  You can make these DIY arrangements with faux or fresh flowers and simple supplies from your local craft store.  So let’s get ready for the next round of patriotic fun!
