Christmas cocktails are certain to add holiday cheer to the season!  Today I’m sharing some simple recipes even an inexperienced cocktail “connoisseur” can easily create.  You won’t need a bunch of ingredients to make them and if you’re a chocolate lover you’ll be especially happy!  I wouldn’t consider myself a mixologist, but I do love experimenting with flavors.  I hope these recipes inspire you to try some new flavor combos too because it’s so fun to discover new favorites.  Sample these or create your own!  Let’s celebrate the season and raise a glass to…

“coffee & cocoa kiss”

1 oz dutch chocolate vodka

1 oz kahlua

garnish with a chocolate kiss or chocolate shavings, optional

makes 1 cocktail

a creamy, rich, tummy-warming drink!  i love the kiss garnish on the edge too…

garnish tip:

to add the chocolate kiss to the rim, simply run hot water on a table knife and gently make an indentation on the bottom of the candy.  the heat will melt the chocolate groove without having to press hard with the knife. line up the groove with the rim of the glass and gently press it in place. now you have a deliciously darling garnish for any chocolatey drink!

you can use a fun stir-stick or a peppermint stick to add some holiday color along side the garnish.  either way this will make the chocolate & coffee lovers smile!
