what you’ll need:
mini heart shaped cookie cutters & a sharp knife
crackers or crostini
herb cheese spread such as Boursin
salami
cherry tomatoes
cheese slices
grab all your goodies and let’s build a cute app!

party tip:
cute, holiday food items are plentiful now, but if you can’t get your hands on heart shaped crackers, use a cutter to make shapes from tortillas or bread. brush with oil and a sprinkle of season salt, then toast in the oven for a delicious substitute!
making the heart tomato is so easy to do. just slice in half lengthwise…
trim the bottom, inside edges a little with a sharp knife…
when you place the two halves together you’ll create a chubby heart shape!
the next topping couldn’t be easier! use a small cookie cutter to slice through your salami of choice…
once you have your shapes made, spread the cracker with herb cheese and place the hearts on top!
you can drizzle with balsamic glaze, sprinkle with herbs OR keep layering! an even tinier cutter and a cheese slice will do the trick…
i mean, how cute…and the easiest too!
