The weather is finally beginning to resemble summer…and it’s about time! However, all the rain and cool temperatures have been wonderful for all the gardens! Today we’re sharing a simple garden tag idea that is easy enough for kids to create…so it’s time to get plantin’! I love having a vegetable garden! Not just for the fresh food, but it has also helped my kids learn to enjoy certain veggies…it’s way more fun trying something that you grew yourself! And you don’t need a lot of space to plant a few of your favorites…you can even have a container garden! So, if you’re inspired to try a new garden this year or already have one, this is an easy and inexpensive way to make your own garden markers…
a few packages of wood shims from the hardware store & alphabet stamps
simply press the names on each wood piece
(using a sharpie marker rather than regular ink to color the stamp will make it more permanent out in the elements)
beautifully simple…perfect for veggies or flowers!
