Setting a spring table can be so easy to do!  Using decorations you already own and adding the simplest details is all you need to create a pretty tabletop!  No need for fancy china either, everyday dishes or paper products can look just as lovely.  And the special touches can make it festive enough for Easter brunch!  I actually created this sweet & simple table last year and didn’t have time to share it.  But a year later, I’m still in love with it and the practically effortless decor ideas!  Whether you’re simply celebrating springtime or preparing for Easter, I hope you can find some inspiration for your seasonal celebrations!  Spring is coming…

let’s set a cheerful table!

everyday tableware can look really festive.  just mix & match what you have…

layering plates always adds interest and color or pattern.  these pretty salad plates happen to be plastic!

also plastic?  the everyday cups!  a pretty paper straw adds color and a touch of whimsy for kids OR adults!

but the sweetest detail is the mini pedestals topped with edible nests!  (stands are also-you guessed it…plastic)

it’s easy to make the nest by loosely tying strands of edible easter grass in a knot.  just top them with your favorite egg candies!

tabletop tip:

if you don’t have mini dessert stands, just place your nest on a tiny pot or small bowl, a cocktail napkin, or directly on the plate!  it will be darling and appreciated wherever it is on the table!

the centerpiece couldn’t be easier either!  i used a small terra cotta pot filled with a few plastic eggs & moss…

to make it super pretty for the holiday, i also popped in a few tiny blooms!

decor tip:

these blooms have no water.  they’ve been picked from the stem and placed around the eggs.  “filler” flowers like these can last a while out of water but be sure to add them just before your celebration.  spray roses or succulents are also a good choice for longevity.  you can also spritz your moss with water to keep the flower heads moist longer…or use faux!

all the little details make a modest table look grand!

shop your house and build on what you find.  it can then be so easy to dress up the table…
