A Chinese New Year Treat!

A Chinese New Year treat will be a delicious way to surprise your family with some extra January fun!  Each year we try to celebrate this festive holiday with a take-out meal from our favorite restaurant.  And since we were traveling on NYE this year, making our Chinese New Year festivities extra fun seemed important!  Along with our meal, I decided to create a treat board with some interesting snacks we picked up in China at the Epcot World Showcase.  Nibbles with an Asian flare & an array of cookies helped us deliciously ring in the Year of the Tiger!  We went ahead and celebrated a tad early so we all could be home together and I’m excited to share it with you!  If you’re feeling like having another go at some New Year fun, check out this inspo!  No trip to China or Disney required…just ideas you can tweak to fit your family celebration!  Let’s gather ’round the table again…

A candy charcuterie is a fun and delicious treat for any celebration!  In addition, you can customize it to fit any party theme or color palette…and it’s the easiest to create!  No baking required either, just a trip to your local grocer will supply you with all the goodies you need!  I LOVE charcuterie boards of all kinds, and though I’ve shared several ideas in the past, this one is especially fun because it fits a particular theme.  I want to share this easy tutorial and inspiration because you can use it to create a multitude of designs or colors with these basic steps. So I hope you enjoy this sweet treat and consider making one for your next party!  Let’s get going with some sugary fun…

Apples and cheese are a tasty combination in my opinion!  The crisp bite of the fruit paired with the nutty creaminess of many cheeses makes for a flavorful appetizer.  And since we might be entertaining small for a while longer, we can still enjoy the little things that bring simple joys!  So today I’d like to share an easy AND tasty appetizer treat for a casual evening at home.  This little board might be small but it will tickle your taste buds and contains some healthier options too! I’d also like to introduce to you my friends at A Dutch Masterpiece and to the yummy Opal apple.  If you don’t know either…you’re in for a delicious treat!  Let’s get ready for the weekend…with an apple and cheese board made for two!
