Valentine’s Day is just over 3 weeks away so it’s not too soon to think about ways to show a little extra love to family and friends.  Whether it’s a sweet little token or gathering together for holiday fun, it can be super easy to spread the cheer!  Today I’d like to share some simple ideas for a Galentine celebration.  Invite a few friends in for a meal together at a table set with girly touches!  No fancy food or decorations required either.  Being together is the best part!  So break out the everyday dishes or paper plates and a little creativity…

A neutral Christmas table is what I’ll be setting this year.  I’m feeling the need for simple and peaceful decorations in my home, and that will carry over to my tabletop! The wonderful thing about a casual table with a neutral palatte is that you might be able to use your everyday dishes!  I layered my plain plates with some natural decorations from around the house and created a festive tabletop that could compete with my fine china!  I’d like to share this simple inspiration with you today AND a fun Christmas Eve tradition! Simple appetizers are so great for small gatherings and casual entertaining.  And I love to keep easy snacks on hand if we decide to have an impromptu get together with a neighbor or two!  Just because our gatherings these days are smaller doesn’t mean we can’t make them look lovely!  It can be so simple to style ANY kind of snack to create an inviting AND delicious table of nibbles!  The best way to do this is to shop your house for a few goodies to add color or texture to your table top.  And if you have any simple collections or decorative items you love, don’t be afraid to incorporate them.  Today I’m excited to share some ways I created an appetizer table with easy food and simple household items & decorations.  My motto is it never has to be fancy to be grand!  Just let your imagination lead you and you’ll style a festive snack that will let your personality shine!  Summer is in full swing…so set out a seasonal treat for your next little celebration!

A simple springtime table is what I’ll be setting this Mother’s Day weekend.  Even though we can’t celebrate with our extended families this year, it’s still a wonderful time to enjoy a dinner at home and rejoice in the new season!  It might seem extra daunting to set a pretty table with retailers still closed and stay-at-home orders still in place.  But not to worry!  We all have dishes in our cupboards already and with some goodies from around the house and/or yard…we can dress them up perfectly for any holiday!  Today I’m going to share a pretty way to style the tabletop just in time for Mother’s Day using simple items that I already own.  I hope it inspires you to take a peek at what you might have so you can set a lovely table and enjoy a meal with your family!  Let’s get to it…
