New Year’s Eve Celebrations…Charcuterie Style!

December 27

New Year’s Eve celebrations are just days away…but you can still party in grand style with an easy charcuterie that will be certain to impress!  Charcuterie boards are one of my favorite appetizers because they’re super simple to put together even for a last-minute party!  While a “true” charcuterie would mean a platter full of meats…the definition to many has gradually changed to a “grazing board”.  This means you can now add just about ANYTHING you want to your edible display!  New Year’s Eve is a perfect opportunity to create this beautiful array of goodies to serve to friends and family.  Pull together all the leftover treats from Christmas and serve them right on the tabletop…no special trays or platters needed!  I’m really excited to partner with Fun to Eat Fruit to bring you some inspiration for sipping and nibbling the night away!  I promise it’s easy and simple but will look every bit as festive as the holiday itself!  The year is coming to an end and I’ll wrap it up with my favorite phrase…celebrate simple and celebrate often!

Hang a DIY holiday wreath on your door and showcase your personality!  It’s really easy to do…especially if you take a plain wreath from your garden center and spruce it up with extra greens and decorations you love!  If you saw the blog on Wednesday you’ll recognize that the two wreaths I’m sharing today coordinate with my tabletop decor!  By creating my own wreath, I could tie the decorations together with the ones on my table.  And fresh greenery at the entrance is such a special way to welcome guests for a Christmas celebration!  So let’s get right to it so you can create your own holiday joy in time for your festivities!

DIY decorations are so much fun to create at any time of the year…but there’s something about Halloween that makes them extra fun!  I think that this holiday is so whimsical and lighthearted that even a novice DIY-er (like myself) can let their creativity shine with easy projects that have plenty of wiggle-room where perfection is concerned!  Recently my husband and I joined a supper club and I’m dying to host a small soiree this month…so holiday touches will be mandatory for my table!  Let me share some of the decorations I’ll be using…and I’ll show you how to make them too!
