I love to see inspiration for festive Valentine food! Adding holiday touches is such a simple and sweet way to turn a snack, a treat table, or even a meal into something extra special! So now that the “happy hearts” celebrations are just days away, I thought I’d share some fun finds and effortless ideas to create festive snacks for your favorite Valentines! With this week so packed with holidays, the easier the better…in my opinion! And easy never needs to mean less…at the end of the day it’s the thought that counts so make it simple but present it with love! Get ready with these easy ideas…
love is in the air…and on the table!
crackers, cheese, salami and simple sweets make up a pretty appetizer table that’s as easy to set up as it is delicious…
how adorable is this block of Brie shaped like a heart? and even better…darling crackers to match!
i found these goodies at Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, but if you don’t have one nearby, check out your local grocer…they all carry wonderful holiday items these days!
pile your savory items on a board or platter, add some fresh herbs & fruit and you’ve got a pretty little appetizer!
a tiny pot is sweet for holding hors d’oeuvre forks…even if guests still use their fingers!
you know how much i love semi homemade goodies…they just makes sense when you’re short on time! i found these packages of darling, heart shaped candies…
and used them to top these beautiful AND delicious chocolate raspberry mini cakes!
these cupcakes, also from Fresh Thyme (one of my favorite, go-to places for quick & yummy cakes) were an easy way to add sugar to the table!
the cute cupcakes sit along side some boxed chocolates…it doesn’t get much easier than that!
a pretty wrapper and a cake plate or platter is all you need to make these boxed beauties shine!
such a simple table that still has so much heart!
if you want to jazz up a simple lunch, i’ll show you some Valentine food that will be so fun to serve up! i really love to create special, holiday meals for my family and this is one of my favorites!
what you’ll need:
white bread slices
wheat bread slices
small holiday shaped cookie cutter
use the cookie cutter to remove a shape from each of the bread slices…
then insert the opposite color into the slice! you can use any bread you like…just make sure the color is different so it will show!
grab your favorite deli choices & spreads…i love to use pesto in our grilled sandwiches and i’ll share my recipe at the end of the post! but you can use any purchased pesto or spread your family will love!
pile on the goodies, butter the bread, grill and serve up some Valentine fun…
a soup and sandwich meal that will be sure to please!
easy Valentine food ideas will help you serve up some love!
