A popcorn bar is a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  Not only is it delicious but it can be so easy to create for some delicious holiday joy!  Happy Hearts Day is just around the corner and this festive idea might be something your family will love. The great thing about popcorn?  It’s a wonderful treat for ANY kind of occasion!  I’m really happy to share this inspiration with you today with help from my friends Grand Rapids Popcorn and Sunshine Tulip Design!  With a click of your mouse, you can grab everything you need to make a popcorn buffet that will have hearts a flutter! setting up popcorn bar is so easy.  have a fun theme, or just spread it all out on a table or countertop…either way is just as delicious!

adorable printables give such charm to my spread!  print right from your computer or for a minimal fee have them printed at your local, office supply store!

add some sriracha bacon for a fun twist!  (i’ll share this recipe at the end of the post!)

and if allergies aren’t a concern, mixed nuts are always nice!

if you’ve got a sweet tooth…chocolate covered cranberries are great for those who lean toward the sugary side!

and yogurt raisins are pleasantly mild and look pretty too!

you don’t need tons of toppings…just a few favorites to sprinkle in!

party tip:

i used new, plastic pots to hold the corn! just wash them and line them with parchment if you’d like! 

you can also use masking tape to attach a photo/place card pick to the inside of the rim.  an easy way to display the choices!

now for the popcorn flavors!  i had fun with old favorites and some new ones to sample!  tried & true white salted

creamy dill was new for us…and now another fun favorite!  it’s also especially delicious with the chips & bacon!

Ingredients
Servings: appetizer bites
Instructions
  1. Lay bacon pieces on a sprayed and foil lined baking sheet. Mix the sriracha sauce and brown sugar together and spread a thin layer on both sides of the bacon. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cooked but not too crispy. Can serve warm or cold.
