Old-fashioned peach cobbler is one of my favorite summertime desserts! It’s a hit with my entire family and is one of the easiest recipes to whip up for any kind of treat or celebration!  This cobbler is made with canned peaches making it so quick and effortless…but that doesn’t mean it skimps on taste!  You can use fresh peaches if you’d like, but my family prefers the canned variety for this particular dessert.  So with just a few items in the pantry, you can treat family or guests to a delicious, old-fashioned peach cobbler that simply tastes like summer!  I can’t wait to share this yummy and easy recipe with you so you can treat your peeps to something peachy!  Let’s get baking once again and turn a simple treat into a celebration!

Yogurt parfaits are a popular treat at my house!  Not only are they super easy to make, but they’re a healthy breakfast choice OR snack and you can top them with all sorts of goodies!  Some of my favorite toppings include fresh fruit, honey, and homemade granola. (I’ll share my recipe at the end of the post!)  Since it looks like we’ll be keeping our summer celebrations limited to family or small groups of friends, making an ordinary treat look extra special seems like a great idea to brighten the experiences!  So I’m sharing a really fun way to dress up & serve individual parfaits for a sweet treat that tastes as good as it looks!  Make simple joys extra special…whether at the breakfast table, or a coffee with a girlfriend or two!  See the fun inspiration…

A simple Easter is what most of us will be experiencing this year.  And though there won’t big gatherings with family & friends, we can still find ways to make the holiday special!  Today I’m sharing some of the easy ideas and recycled decorations that I’ll be using to make our day extra festive while we’re quarantined at home.  Since we have nowhere to go and an abundance of time, I LOVE the idea of extra gatherings around our table on Easter Sunday.  So this year I’ll be serving two holiday meals!  We’ll start the day with a casual brunch and I’d like to share with you how I’ll be setting the table AND our favorite breakfast casserole!  So get ready to shop your house for decorations you can use to make a simple celebration feel anything but!

Super Bowl Sunday Sandwiches!

Super Bowl Sunday is less than two weeks away…so it’s not too early to begin thinking about your menu!  We have a family tradition of making a huge tray of wings for game night munching.  And while wings are delicious, they’ve never been my absolute favorite food, amplified by the fact that they’re inevitably messy!  So along side the wings…I always create a secondary snack that’s easy, filling and delicious too! This year I’m going to serve up some simple sandwiches but with a super spicy twist!  Sriracha slaw piled high on a ham & cheese stuffed baguette is not only the easiest thing to make…but it gives that simple sandwich a feisty bite!  Let’s root for our favorite team…and nibble the night away!

A soup supper is something my family enjoys often during the winter months! Soup is warm & toasty, it’s healthy, and can be served alone as a one-pot meal! And now that the holidays are over, I’m definitely serving much more simple dishes to counteract all the indulging we’ve done! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite chili recipes which is perfect for a winter-white dinner party or just an everyday meal.  AND you can check out the simple way I repurposed some of my Christmas decor to create easy, seasonal decorations too!  So snuggle up and serve a satisfying soup supper on a chilly winter eve…
